Located in Cali, Centro Sur Plaza is a project by Architects Alejandra Bernal Franco and Angel Erazo. Its architectural design is aesthetically and functionally complemented with the textile roofing designed in a joint effort with CIDELSA.
The inclusion of arches as a structural solution to the roofing produces greater amplitude of the interior space and a continuous flow of air through the side openings, and the combination of white membrane with translucent stripes allow for the entry of natural light into the interior of the Shopping Mall. Thus Tensile Structures contribute as a visual appeal complementary to architectural design and as a functional climate support for buildings.
